iHospital
I welcome the news that medical teams are looking for new ways to integrate iPhones and iPads into their care for hospital patients and to provide their patients with better information, but the first of the photos that accompany this article made me think more than a little. If hospitals really want to use these devices they've got a more fundamental problem to work on first. They've got to provide a simpler way to charge the devices and stow them securely. Tablets and phones have been both a convenience and a help to me on a few hospital stays, but it has been a nuisance to keep them running and out of the way when they're not being used.
