I did some reading, at least, while I was taking it easy. Finished The Book on Bush and treated myself to The Bridge of San Luis Rey. I liked this novel when I read it years ago, and I still think it's a fine piece of writing. I've finally said yes to a longstanding wish to read Middlemarch again, and that's what I'm doing.
