Sometimes I encounter evidence that I've learned something over the years. This confuses me, since I thought I knew everything back then.

What was surprising is that Ed Folsom, the professor who conducted the MOOC I just finished makes an appearance here. I was exposed to him before I even heard about the course. The interest in Whitman continues—I've started *Song of Myself* again in celebration of poetry month.
