This is from Radiolab and not from the Scott Expedition, who kept me enthralled with their blog posts for more than 100 days, but it manages to show what Antarctica can really be like in just about a minute.
I suppose I should post a Twitter note I saw yesterday that seemed to mark the real end of the Expedition, the breaking of the fellowship.
Another surreal day today. After 4 months together Tarka takes to the air once again for his final flight - back to the Alps and home!
