This report from the PBS NewsHour got my attention with the news that researchers are looking into the possibility that mild electrical stimulation of the brain might improve plasticity. I had to wait till the end for an application directly related to stroke—whether motor function could be improved for a twenty year old who suffered a stroke *in utero*. The technology sounds promising, but widespread use of any applications is probably at least 10 years off. Still...
