An important day at our house. We replaced the windows that have been here forever with newer, more efficient ones. Time will tell whether they really deliver on all the promises, but I can tell in just a little while that better quality glass has a real effect on lowering street noise in the house. I think I'm most pleased that we bought windows without phony mullions, and I have both a better-looking house and an unimpeded view into my yard. It's also amazing to me that a small work crew was able to replace all the windows in my house in a relatively short time--about six hours from start to finish.
