Outside
What is so rare as day in almost-May? The door to our deck was repaired this morning, and for the first time in many years I am able to go outside by myself and enjoy being in the sun in my yard. It's a delightful spring day and I feel like I could linger here for hours watching and listening to the birds, enjoying the early flowers. We've moved the grill onto the deck and I can hardly wait to load it up with charcoal and toss some burgers or chicken or fish on it. I'll probably be really greedy and try to make mounds of food and have long, liesurely meals, even better if we can share it with some friends. It sounds so good and so tempting I'm almost looking forward to disagreeing with my wife over how much we eat. She bought Sarita this morning to share the afternoon on our deck and many more I hope.
